The fourth or Heart Chakra, is physically located in the
center of our chests. The Heart Chakra is the seat of compassion, oneness and
of being connected. Through the heart, we find our commonality with others, our
true oneness with all things, and our ability to connect and aid in healing. It
is truly the chakra where all healing comes from.

Equally important is our ability to have love and compassion
for ourselves. Just as being able to give unconditionally cannot exist without our ability to receive unconditionally, we must
learn to care for ourselves in order to give to others. Through meditation, we
can learn to create a continuous flow of energy through the chakra, bringing
about the balance that we need and healing our own blockages.
Having a blocked Heart Chakra can result in many imbalances, including feelings of resentment, anger and frustration. In other words, our ability to give and receive becomes unbalanced.
